Departing from Brisbane: Terminals, Parking and Boarding
Pinkenba's cruise terminal is our home port — bigger than it looks, friendlier than it sounds, and twenty minutes from the city if you know which way to go.
Brisbane International Cruise Terminal sits at Pinkenba, where the river meets the bay — about twenty minutes northeast of the CBD, twelve minutes from the airport. It's the only terminal in Australia purpose-built for vessels of our fleet's size, which is a bureaucratic way of saying the gangways are wide and the air conditioning works.
Getting there
Drive: the terminal has dedicated parking a hundred metres from the door. Pre-book your space in the confirmation flow — event evenings fill the closest bays. Rideshare: drop-off is at the terminal forecourt, closer to the gangway than any car park will get you. Public transport exists but is genuinely unhelpful for evening departures; a shared ride beats it on both time and dignity.
The boarding window
Your confirmation names a window — typically 17:30 to 18:15 for evening departures. Come early. The terminal lounge opens a full hour before first boarding, and the pre-sail atmosphere there is part of the evening: check-in desks, a welcome drink, the fleet's own photography wall, and the slow build of a crowd dressed for cards.
What happens at the door
ID check at the terminal entrance (photo ID, everyone, no exceptions), boarding pass scan, a biometric enrolment of ninety seconds if your event uses it, then the gangway itself. The walk up is the reveal — the ship in the evening light does the marketing for us.
Other departure ports
Series cruises and private charters run from Sydney, Hamilton Island and Cairns depending on the itinerary — details live on the roadmap page, and every confirmation carries the specific terminal, gate and window for your sailing.

Arrive early, trust me. The boarding hour is half the magic — everyone arrives a stranger and boards as the same party.
