Refund & Cancellation Policy
Exactly what happens to your money if plans change — yours, ours, or the weather's. The schedule below applies to every booking in writing.
Last updated: 1 February 2025
1. Private event cancellations
60+ days before sailing: full refund less a 10%
holding fee.
30–59 days: deposit (30%)
retained; further payments returned.
14–29 days:
50% of the total retained.
Inside 14 days:
full payment is due — though we'll always offer rebooking credit
where a date exists.
2. Public-event tickets
Tickets are refundable up to 14 days before the event (less a 5% processing fee), transferable to another named guest up to 72 hours out, and creditable to a future event inside the final fortnight on request.
3. Cancellations by us
If weather, mechanical failure or other force majeure forces a cancellation, you receive full rebooking credit valid twelve months — or a complete refund if you prefer it. The master's safety decisions are final and never subject to commercial pressure.
4. Weather that doesn't cancel
Most weather doesn't stop a sailing — the fleet is stabilised and routes stay in protected water. Rain alone isn't grounds for cancellation; the call sits with the vessel's master.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your booking reference. Approved refunds process to the original payment method within 10 business days.
6. Changes and upgrades
Date changes more than 30 days out carry no fee where availability exists — we'd rather move you than lose you. Upgrades and additions adjust the balance due, not the cancellation schedule.
