1. Corporate details

Southern Seas Events Pty Ltd is registered in Queensland, Australia. Registered office: Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, Pinkenba QLD 4008, Australia. ACN available on request.

2. Gaming compliance

Our events run under state charitable-gaming and promotional-event frameworks, not as licensed casino operations. Tournament structures use entry-fee/prize or fun-money models published per event, with audited records for charitable events and full documentation available to clients on request. No unlawful real-money wagering occurs aboard.

3. Maritime obligations

All vessels operate under AMSA certification with passenger manifests supplied to authorities for every sailing — a legal requirement that necessitates the identity data we collect. Masters hold full statutory authority over sailings, including refusal of boarding and cancellation for safety.

4. Biometric systems

Biometric boarding (salon and VIP tiers) operates under Australian Privacy Act biometric-data provisions: consent-based, purpose-limited, separately stored, deleted within 30 days of the event.

5. Responsible play

Our events are entertainment first — fun-money and fixed-prize structures are designed to keep it that way. Staff are trained to recognise problem gambling indicators, and we provide self-exclusion on request and links to support services (GambleAware, Gambling Help Online 1800 858 858) in every event confirmation.

6. Accessibility

We are committed to accessible events — gangway assistance, accessible table configurations and dietary accommodations are standard offerings. Tell us what you need at booking; the crew handles the rest.

7. Intellectual property

Site content, photography, marks and event names are our property. Event photography taken aboard may feature guests — opt out at boarding and our photographers honour the marker throughout.
